CONCERT REVIEW: Five Finger Death Punch – Megadeth – The HU – Fire From The Gods Live at Xfinity Center
Five Finger Death Punch last performed in Massachusetts in 2018 and it was long overdue for their return, tonight at the Xfinity Center. Supporting their latest record Afterlife (Better Noise Music), the band brought a huge, full-stage production, as they usually do. The set list was full of fan favorites. It doesn’t seem more than a riff or two ago that Five Finger Death Punch was on the cusp of being the biggest thing in Metal (heavy, groove, mainstream or otherwise). The Wrong Side of Heaven… collectives weren’t even cooling in the racks before flying off the shelves, and the band’s touring ethic saw them upgrading on venue size each time around, building a reputation of power and excellence, and a setlist to shame all but the legends. Mudvayne, Atreyu, Crown The Empire, and Afterlife Added to Voragos Cruise and Destination Festival
Voragos: Destination Lunasea Beach has announced Mudvayne, Atreyu, Crown The Empire, and Afterlife to the lineup for the private island festival and 5-day rock cruise coming in early 2022. The recently reunited Mudvayne (who continues to partner with Danny Wimmer Presents for their first live performances after a 12-year hiatus), Atreyu, Crown The Empire and Afterlife. Mudvayne will play both on board and at Lunasea Beach and will replace Chevelle who regrettably have to cancel their VORAGOS Lunasea Beach appearance due to a conflict with their upcoming touring schedule. All other previously announced acts will be appearing, including Rob Zombie, Mastodon. and more.
