Oathbreaker Stream New Single – “Ease Me”

Oathbreaker has returned with a new single ‘Ease Me’. Originally released as part of the Adult Swim “Metal Swim 2” compilation last year, ‘Ease Me’ has now been remixed and remastered, and will see a proper physical release in May via Deathwish Inc. The track has been remixed/reinterpreted by incredible artists Jesu, Chelsea Wolfe, WIFE, and Michael A. Muller, and recorded by Michael Neyt at Jetson and later mixed and mastered by Jack Shirley at Atomic Garden. Listen + share the ‘Ease Me (Jesu Remix)’ here.

FESTIVAL REVIEW: Adult Swim Festival

For just one weekend the Banc of California Stadium was transformed into a carnivalesque outdoor funhouse for the Adult Swim Festival. The stadium was alive with colorful distorted animations reminiscent of children’s cartoons and claymation scenes warped and hyperbolized beyond the mind’s comprehension, while a giant Meatwad dome sat across an even larger inflatable slide shaped like Morty’s head vomiting a rainbow.

Watch Dethklok Perform at Adult Swim Festival

Dethklok reunited and performed live for the first time in five years last night as the headline act of Adult Swim Festival at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles, California! Ghost Cult was on hand for the festival and review will be up on the site next week. The band performed a 19-song set-list of hits and deep cuts, as well as two new premieres. Dethklok, which emerged from the metal fan favorite and pop culture hit Metalocalypse, has not performed live since their 2012 tour to promote Dethalbum III, although they released The Doomstar Requiem soundtrack in 2013, but never toured behind it. That episode concluded the show, on October 27th 2013. Series co-founder and band leader Brendon Small has been working on other series and his other band, Brendan Small’s Galaktikon, which released a new album in 2017, Galaktikon II: Become The Storm. Joining Small (vocals/guitar) in the band last night was Gene Hoglan on drums, Nili Brosh on second guitar and Pete Griffin on bass. Watch fan-filmed footage of their set right now! Power Trip has dropped their big news they have been teasing! Their Evil Beast fest is back for round 2 with estival, Evil Beat returns to South Side Ballroom. 2020’s lineup includes: Carcass, Vio-lence, Razor, Deafheaven, Sheer Mag, Drab Majesty, Prurient, Warthog, Torche, Wiccans, Red Death, True Widow, Special Interest, Mil Spec, Dress Code and Power Trip. There will also be a kick-off show Friday, January 10 — more details to come. Tickets will be available tomorrow, October 10 at 10AM CST. Pre-sale details below! The new PT single ‘Hornet’s Nest’ also sees its release across all digital and streaming platforms. Originally debuted in June of 2018 as part of Adult Swim’s Single Series, the song has been a staple in the band’s live set, a fixture on satellite radio and a fan favorite ever since. As an added bonus, any person attending any of the shows on the band’s fall 2019 co-headlining tour with High on Fire will have the opportunity to pick up an exclusive 7″ tour flexi of the song at the merch table. Shooter Jennings To Perform the Theme Song for Adult Swim’s Squidbillies This Week

Outlaw Country artist and acclaimed producer Shooter Jennings (Duff McKagan, Marilyn Manson, Brandi Carlyle) will perform the theme song for Adult Swim’s Squidbillies this Sunday, September 15 at Midnight Eastern. In May following the release of the stellar new album The Sciences, doom legends Sleep release a new song, the seventeen-minute opus, ‘Leagues Beneath’ as part of Adult Swim’s ongoing “Singles Program”. Now the band is releasing a limited edition 12-Inch Vinyl Edition via their label, Jack White’s Third Man Records. The band is so fond of the track, they performed it live on their recent headline tour of America. The vinyl comes in two editions.
