Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” Film Lands Five Academy Award Nominations For 2019


Bohemian Rhapsody, the biopic about the rise of the band Queen and its iconic frontman Freddie Mercury is already the largest grossing film biography about a musician or band ever. They cleaned up recently at the Golden Globes awards winning best picture and best actor for Rami Malek in his portrayal of Mercury. Now the film has been nominated for five Academy Awards, a.k.a. The Oscars or The Oscar Awards.
The film is nominated in the categories of “Best Picture,” “Sound Editing,” “Sound Mixing,” “Film Editing,” and “Best Actor,” for Malek again.
