Fantoons has released the official RUSH graphic novel chronicling the making of the band’s classic album “A Farewell To Kings”, the first in the animation studio’s ongoing relationship with RUSH. Look at early panel samples below! This epic, fully authorized graphic novel chronicles the birth of RUSH’s classic album “A Farewell To Kings”. Relive the production trials and triumphs alongside Alex Lifeson, Geddy Lee and Neil Peart as they create the masterpiece of progressive rock that gave birth to such tracks as “Closer To The Heart” and the majestic “Xanadu”. The book is co-written by Fantoons’ David Calcano and Lindsay Lee, and features artwork by Juan Riera and Ittai Manero. Rush Best Album Debate Held In An Episode Of “Billions”


Rush featured prominently in a recent episode of the Showtime series Billions. Main character and investing genius fund manager Bobby Axelrod and his lieutenant/CIO Taylor Amber Mason debate what the best album by the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame band is in a humorous exchange. The banter namechecks the albums 2112, Moving Pictures, A Farewell To Kings. The show frequently references rock and metal bands and songs, with Axelrod often sporting band shirts, and Metallica even making a cameo in a 2017 episode.
