Spotify’s very public break up with artists such as Neil Young and now over COVID-19 misinformation in the form of high-paid podcasters like Joe Roagan have had unintended consequences. According to a published report from Loudwire the world’s most dominating streaming platform’s stock has plummeted about 25% in 2022, or as much as four billion dollars of their worth as of this report. Although they are just rumors, some outlets are reporting that the Foo Fighters are considering also leaving the platform. Foo Fighters have been trending on social networks all weekend with fans also claiming to quit in solidarity.
