Slipknot Announces That Craig Jones Has Parted Ways with the Band


In a stunning new post to social media, Slipknot has announced that sampler/keyboardist Craig Jones is out of the band. The official words used was “parted ways.” Craig has not made a statement yet. This news comes on the heels of M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan’s announcement that he is not joining the band on tour this week, including Download Festival to care for his wife, who is having health struggles. No replacements have been announced as of yet. Read the band’s official statement below. Joining the band in 1996 on guitar, he switched to keyboards and effects soon after. Craig is the second long-time member to leave the band in the last few years after the dismissal of Chris Fehn.
