Legendary NWOBHM band Saxon is still going strong in 2018 with their new album Thunderbolt (Silver Lining) and their recent tours with Judas Priest. In a new interview with Moshpit Passion, singer Biff Byford discussed the possibility of celebratory vibe for 2019 concerts and festivals paying tribute to the bands fortieth year in metal. The band are currently touring throughout the end of 2018, and are touring behind the new deluxe tour edition of Thunderbolt.
“We are touring until December, I think, but we’ve got something planned next year for our 40th anniversary. So I’m looking forward to that. There should be some… maybe some festivals and maybe two or three special shows.”
