If you’re anything like the crew at Ghost Cult, you’ve made time to binge watch some or all of Marvel’s The Punisher series on Netflix this past weekend. The series has already made a theme of using music in a compelling way, with the use of Metallica in the run-up to the premiere. If you got up to episode 11, you heard an amazing song as the background shot of Frank Castle dealing with some painful memories with the New York City skyline behind him. That song is ‘Fated, Faithful, Fatal’, by Marilyn Manson, a bonus track from 2015s excellent release, The Pale Emperor (Loma Vista Records). The track is essentially an alternate version of another song on that album, ‘The Mephistopheles of Los Angeles’. You can hear the track below.
