Ghost Cult is delighted to bring you The Erkonauts brand new track from their upcoming second album. Here’s what Ales said on the ‘Seven Macaw’ single, “Seven Macaw is the last song we recorded vocals in the making of the album. I was on my last drop of energy and we did the whole thing through the night. This gives this song a distinctive, slightly broken edge that I really enjoy. Raw power mixed with despair. Very fitting for the telling of this Mayan myth.”

Formed in 2014, The Erkonauts are an eccentric foursome playing a high octane style of their very own, striving to pack kick-ass modern power, execution and production with subtle vintage tones.

After touring worldwide between 2014 and 2016 (with shows in USA, Europe, Asia and Russia), the band released their first album on Kaotoxin Records in 2016, a trip atop a giant rubber trampoline of funky-metal basslines, huge metal riffs, crusty punk vocals and serious prog, and has been hailed as one of the revelation of 2016, and their next release will be released through Indie Recordings soon, so stay tuned!
