This is not a drill! Following their gigantic comeback at Welcome to Rockville, a headline show in LA and Lollapalooza 2022, Perry Farrel’s (Jane’s Addiction) Porno For Pyros is working on new music and recording it for an as yet unannounced release. This news comes from a social media post from guitarist Peter DiStefano, anda photo of Peter and Perry together!
The LA show was the first full performance since 1998. Welcome to Rockville was lacking drummer Stephen Perkins. Filling in for him was his drum tech Mike Gryciuk. Joining Perry and DiStefano, was bassist Mike Watt. Farrell collaborator Nick Maybury also played guitar. Farrell’s wife Etty Lau and Joie Shettler provided backing vocals.
