Metallica’s Lars Ulrich Discusses His Career In Music At The 92nd Street Y

Lars Ulrich of Metallica appeared at an exclusive event this past weekend at The 92nd Street Y to discuss his career in music, his life, and other interests in a wide-ranging interview, hosted by Mike Hogan of Vanity Fair. Lars came straight off the tour from their European tour to be there. The sold-out event was mobbed by Metallica fans, and Lars himself was candid, funny, and topical.

As much as he is the co-founder of the biggest band in the world, Lars has been largely private about his personal life, so this was a rare opportunity to see the famous drummer open it up and speak freely about these topics. He also made a gift to the venue for hosting him. Check out this EXCLUSIVE photos of the event by Jonathan Arevalo for Ghost Cult!
