Crossover Thrash Metal band OTTTO has shared a new single for the song “Skyscraper!” The band has kicked off a co-headlining tour with Bastardane, another young thrash group. Both groups share a famous lineage from Metallica, as OTTTO features Ty Trujillio (Korn and Suicidal Tendencies live) (son of Robert Trujillio) and Bastardane features Castor Hetfield (son of James). The new single is a preview of the band’s as-of-yet unannounced late 2022, second album. Check out the track now and stream the track on all DSPs!

The OTTTO band members, excited to share what they’ve been working on said “’Skyscraper is a song about the most wanted game in the universe!”

 

The tour, which culminates with Sirius XM Liquid Metal’s Jose Mangin hosting the bands for a special performance at Affliction Clothing headquarters in Seal Beach, marks Bastardane and OTTTO’s first joint outing since their December date as part of the four-night Metallica 40th Anniversary takeover. The pair performed at Bottlerock over the weekend, with Riff Magazine saying OTTTO “was one of the heaviest bands on the bill, churning out tracks rooted in thrash and heavy metal” and the San Francisco Chronicle adding that the outfit’s performance “showed that the musical genes did in fact get passed down.”

OTTTO is Bryan Noah Ferretti (vocals/guitar), Tye Trujillo (bass) and Triko Chavez (drums). The trio is currently working on a new album, having released their nine-song, self-titled collection in 2020.
