NIN and leader Trent Reznor has had a prolific year so far in 2017, and it is not slowing down so far. Releasing the first in a trilogy of EPs last Christmas with Not The Actual Events, their year started with promotional appearances. A second EP in the trilogy was Add Violence which released on July 21st, right before their headlining appearance at New York City’s Panorama Festival. Reznor and collaborator/bandmate Atticus Ross released their soundtrack to filmmaker Ken Burns documentary Vietnam in September, right before their headlining slot at Riot Fest. Next, NIN will headline the Aftershock Festival on October 21st. Reznor has promised more new music this year, so perhaps the third EP out of three will release soon. In addition to new music, new releases include more albums in a continuing series of deluxe NIN remasters for With Teeth, Year Zero, and The Slip, with more promised in the future.
