Legendary Neurosis and SLEEP drummer Jason Roeder has completed the auction of his treasured drumset on ebay, of which the proceeds will go to the Sonoma County North Bay Fire Relief Fund to help victims of the October wildfires that devastated California. The kit, which sold for 1550.00 usd based on 31 bids, is a Tama Granstar Custom drum kit in Piano Black lacquer finish with Tama brass snare drum. The kit was used on classic Neurosis albums such as Souls at Zero, Enemy of the Sun, Through Silver in Blood, and Times of Grace among others.
History:
This drum kit was purchased in early 1992. I used these drums for studio work and live touring from 1992 until I “retired” the kit in 2007.
These drums were used on the following recordings:

“Through Silver in Blood” – Neurosis, 1996
“Times of Grace” – Neurosis, 1999
“Sovereign” – Neurosis, 2000

These drums were used for live touring throughout the 1990’s into the mid 2000’s, including the USA and Europe. They can be seen on many live videos on YouTube by searching for early Neurosis footage.
