“I’m awful at picking favourites for anything so this probably isn’t my all-time favourite memory but it’s definitely up there…
Basically, for one of the Fresher’s events at my friend’s university, Cascada was performing, because that’s what she does now from what I can tell… Fresher’s events and that sort of thing. And so, me and a few friends decided to go, partly just for the night out, but partly because Cascada does have a few bangers. What I didn’t realise is just how many bangers Cascada has and just how good she is live!
And when I say good, she was fucking GREAT!
It was to the point where I was saying “Oh, it’s a shame she’s lip syncing”, but then she went into an acapella bit and it was like “HOLY FUCK! SHE’S NOT LIP SYNCING! WHAT A BABE!”
I should also probably mention that by the time she came on I was smashed, like proper whammo’d, so, combine a wicked Cascada set with just being wasted, and you’ve got basically one of my favourite nights ever.
A guy also caught my foot whilst trying to get by as I was dancing and I fully stacked it, like a cartoon character slipping on a banana peel, fully horizontal, stacked it. One second it’s Cascada, and the next it’s the floor covered in confetti and ribbons and shit. But that doesn’t seem important…”
