A few days after teasing a new recording, Mr. Bungle has shared more photos on social media (Instagram and Twitter). The band is apparently in the studio working on new recordings, likely with the lineup that just performed the Mr. Bungle reunion shows last month. Joining Mike Patton, Trevor Dunn and Trey Spruance for those shows were Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian and Suicidal Tendencies and Dead Cross drummer Dave Lombardo. In addition to performing all of The Raging Wrath Of The Easter Bunny demo, the band performed several “new” songs live that were just early unreleased Bungle hardcore songs, eight covers and ten originals overall during their shows. The band has not released any new music since their California album in 1999. Any new Mr. Bungle release would be a cause to celebrate so fingers crossed!
