Metallica released their best album in over twenty years back on November 18th via Blackened Recordings, and now it has been confirmed that Hardwired…To Self-Destruct will debut at #1 on The Billboard Top 200 chart. Their new record sold 291,000 equivalent album units in the week ending November 24th, and will be the band’s sixth record to top the charts here in the United States. While this comes as no surprise, because the promotion cycle was the best I’ve ever seen, it’s still awesome to see heavy metal back on top of the music world!
