According to a report from the Music Feeds AU site, the city of Melbourne will host a 50th-anniversary party for Black Sabbath on May 18th. Brunswick’s nightclub Stay Gold will host the one-off bash, dubbed ‘Sabbath Bloody Sabbath’, inviting “all heavy metal fans” along to “worship our heavy metal godfathers”. The band room will see Sabbath classics, plus tunes from Ozzy’s solo career, Judas Priest and more covered live, while the front bar Spitfire will be blasting classic metal through the PA all night long.
