According to a published report from the Assosciated Press and Blabbermouth.net, Marilyn Manson has has plead not guilty over charges in Guiliforfd, New Hampshire. Manson, a.k.a. Brian Warner, had turned himself in viturally, July 2 on the warrant in Los Angeles. Manson is charged with assault from a videographer at his 2019 concert at the Bank Of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford and spitting and blowing his nose on her. Manson’s attorney filed the not guilty plea in Laconia District Court. A case status hearing has been scheduled for December 27. Manson was charged with two misdemeanour counts of simple assault. If convicted on the charges, Manson could face a jail sentence of up to one year and a fine of up to $2,000.
Police Chief Anthony Bean Burpee had previously said that under the agreement, Manson, whose legal name is Brian Hugh Warner, would turn himself in on the warrant in Los Angeles. An arraignment at Laconia District Court could be scheduled by mid-August, depending on when Manson turns himself in, Bean Burpee said. Manson is charged with simple assault and is accused of assaulting a videographer at a concert at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion on Aug. 18, 2019. Witnesses said Manson spit at the videographer’s camera several times. This legal trouble follows by the current case by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department investigating multiple allegations of sexual assault and abuse stemming from his former fiancee Evan Rachel Wood going public with allegations, among many others.

Bean Burpee said Manson would not need to appear in New Hampshire for his arraignment. He could waive his appearance and enter a not guilty plea, or the court, in accordance with pandemic protocols, cancel the initial appearance and schedule a case status hearing instead. Bean Burpee said he believes the attention that the charges received on social media pushed Manson to address the warrant.
He rejected a statement Manson’s attorney made claiming that the alleged victim filed a police report only after her attempt to get a financial payout from Manson was rejected. Bean Burpee said she made the report the day after the concert, but the investigation took several months to complete.

The Gilford Police Department has an active arrest warrant for Brian Hugh Warner (aka: Marilyn Manson) for two counts of Class A misdemeanor Simple Assault stemming from a 2019 incident at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion.
