Progressive Folk Metal Band Lör has debuted their very first music video ever today for their track ‘Ruin’! The video comes in celebration of their new EP Edge of Eternity, out today, and available to purchase and stream via Bandcamp.

“First of all, we’d like to thank Dan Silver and his fantastic crew for going above and beyond anything we could have hoped for with this video. They’re seriously awesome and we are so thrilled to get to share this music video with everyone, finally! Filming this video took a lot of work and help from a wonderful cast, through the snow, rain, early morning and late nights we are proud of how this turned out. The video was filmed at New Hope Audubon Society and Rosetree Preservation at a rehabilitated house from the 1700’s just outside of Philadelphia. Ruin is a song that sort of stood out to us when we were writing, it’s maybe the most theatrical song and has an actual narrative happening lyrically so we figured it lent itself to becoming a video despite being the longest track on the record. The general idea, without spoiling too much, is that kings and kingdoms rise and fall, leaders come and go, sometimes forcefully through revolution. People, when oppressed, revolt against their rulers and a new rule is established. Though we may think we are ushering in a new era of peace, greed and power, corrupts the minds of men as the cycle continues for all of human history.”
Lör is excited to present an exhilarating and adventurous experience for listeners to enjoy this Spring with “Edge of Eternity.” For the first 24 hours, Lör will be donating half of all physical and digital sales to DirectRelief.org in an effort to track Covid-19, test and develop a vaccine as well as provide protective equipment for medical workers. In addition, Lör would like to announce that the next release is already in the works and that fans should keep their eyes peeled for the near future.
