The remaining members of Motörhead will be releasing a collection of their best covers on September 1st, which includes the previously unreleased version of David Bowie’s ‘Heroes’ that we premiered earlier this month. Today they’ve shared their Grammy-winning cover of ‘Whiplash’ by Metallica online, along with this statement from Mikkey Dee to Metal Hammer, “As you know we love Metallica and they love us, and this is one of the songs we liked a lot and covered it back then. The snare, the riffs – all that fit in with Motorhead.”
