Avenged Sevenfold who are currently touring the US and playing music festivals such opening for Metallica in Minnesota, at High Elevation Festival, Rock Allegiance, Louder Than Life and next weeks’ Aftershock Festival will debut a new single this week from their forthcoming album. The album title and single name (‘The Stage’) were leaked accidentally by A7X fan and friend Chris Jericho. See the deleted Instagram image below:
Full album details are will be available on October 27th and the new album is apparently due out on December 9th. Dubbed Voltaic Oceans, the album will be the first for the band with Capitol
Records following their surprising split with Warner Brothers. The band did launch a new website today with hints and clues about the new album. The website is monitored by the Dethbot (a play on the bands’ mascot/logo “The Deathbat”. Deathbot allows all comers to ask questions and will even offer clues given the right keywords.
