Late Slipknot Bassist Paul Gray’s Family Settles Lawsuit In Wrongful Death Case

When Slipknot co-founder and bassist Paul Gray died of a drug overdose in 2010, a shockwave was felt in the metal community. The family of Paul has been dealing with the aftermath recently due to an ongoing wrongful death lawsuit case that was just settled for an undisclosed amount, ahead of going to trial this week.

According to the Des Moines Register. Gray’s wife Brenna Gray, filed a wrongful death lawsuit in 2010, but it was dismissed because she had waited too long. However, the couple’s daughter, October Gray, had not been born at the time of the musician’s death and a suit was later filed on her behalf against Dr. Anthony Baldi, who was treating Gray for pain and addiction at the time of his death.
