In a surprising move, Lamb of God has announced that Chris Adler is no longer a member of the band he helped build since 1999. In a report by Metal Injection, the band made a statement on social media today announcing the move. The band has welcomed Art Cruz (Prong/Winds of Plague) as the permanent replacement for Adler, whose brother Willie is still in the band. There has been no statement by Chris at this time. Adler has been sidelined from Lamb Of God’s live shows since 2018 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident and did not have a clear timetable for his return. Adler is booked to perform Russian tour dates this fall with Hail!, the metal supergroup-type shows.
