Lamb Of God’s John Campbell Says There Will “Probably” Be More Clean Vocals In The Future

Lamb Of God introduced clean vocals to their sound on 2015’s VII: Sturm Und Drang, and we can “probably” expect more in the future. In a new interview with The Salt Lake Tribute, bassist John Campbell was asked if Randy Blythe will do more singing on their upcoming material, and he said this, “There is no telling, but I would imagine, yes, probably. I think some people still have a hard time with it, nut we’re always trying to evolve and come up with new ways to present heavy music. Not that it gets boring, but we don’t want to go out there and play the same songs every night, or play the same set and have every song be exactly the same. It’s nice to have some different emotions, some different dynamics to the set.

Personally, I love Randy’s clean vocals. Like John said in the interview, it adds a whole new dynamic to the sound, so I’m stoked to hear more in the future. What about you?
