Legendary 1990s alternative rock band L7 reunited for several tours the last few year, performing at Download Festival UK, made the documentary Pretend We’re Dead, and the vibe went so well that the band decided to make a new album. They have already cut several tracks and will release more music soon, as well as hit the studio to record the full-length. Pre-order levels are available through today, New Year’s Eve at their Pledge Music campaign.
From the L7 Pledge Campaign:
“After having an amazingly great experience with our L7 reunion tour in 2015 as well
the release of a documentary on our band, “L7: Pretend We’re Dead”, the band felt inspired to do some songwriting and return to the studio once again. The end results were recording the tracks “Dispatch From Mar-a-Lago” and “I Came Back to Bitch”. Our first new tunes in 18 years!
We’ve had such a blast hanging out, writing, and recording with each other again that we decided to keep the ball rolling. More song ideas have been flowing out of us every time we get together and play, so we’ve decided to make a full length album which we will record this year.
The new L7 album may be pre-ordered here along with exclusive access to the band via video updates, limited addition merch, signed rarities and other such bad ass-ery. We’re super excited to be launching this page on the eve of our 2018 touring schedule. Be sure to check out our LIVE and IN THE FLESH experiences below. Have fun going through the items on our page and dip back in here often, as we will be adding new rarities and other cool stuff that we come across in our closets. And, as always, thanks for your support.
Keep on rockin’, Love L7”
