Ken Barr, Author, Filmmaker, and Tour Manager for KISS, Alice Cooper, and Stone Temple Pilots, Has Passed Away

Sad news as author, tour manager, roadie, playwright, filmaker, and friend to Ghost Cult, Ken Barr has passed away. Ken had been in ill health the last few years. Ken was best known for as many years as a tour manager for huge bands such as KISS, Alice Cooper, Stone Temple Pilots, 70K Tons of Metal Cruise, and tons more in his 35-year career in music. Starting out as a roadie and a tech, Ken later became a tour manager for some of the greatest bands in rock. In 2009 Ken became a published author with his book We Are The Road Crew, sharing stories from his tenure in the business, giving an unbridled view into the industry. He followed his muse, writing and creating countless books, and short stories over the years, amassing a huge collection of work across many genres. Ken also became a noted speaker and panelist at conventions including Spooky Empire, where we first met Ken. Said by all to be a kind, caring, and supportive person by everyone he met, Ken will be missed by many. We send our condolences out to Ken’s family, friends, and many fans. RIP Ken.
