Ghost Cult Magazine asked a bunch of artists “if you were getting into a space ship tomorrow and never coming back to Earth, and you only had one record to listen to or a handful of records to listen to forever, what records would you take with you?” We got some cool answers for the “Spaceship Playlists”, like this one from Michael Del Pizzo of Sunflower Dead.

I would take Journey’s greatest hits and I would take Its Time To Get Weird from us, and then I would leave it at that.

(Steve Perry) He’s like my idol, not that I sing like him in any way, but he’s just my idol. I can just listen to anything he’s on repeatedly forever, so it’s all good for me.

That’s so weird that artists don’t listen to their own stuff. It’s like “you’re full of it”. Yes, you do. Everybody listens to their own stuff. I’m proud of what we do, and I listen to it, and I get excited about it. I’m not like “I don’t listen to my own stuff”. Yeah, you’re full of it .
