Chicago alternative rockers Hidden Hospitals will be releasing their debut full length album Surface Tension on March 24, 2015. Their record was produced and mixed by J. Hall, who had previously worked on their past recordings. Stream their music video for “The Absence of Emotion” here.

The band includes members from previous projects Damiera (Equal Vision Records) and Kiss Kiss (Eyeball Records)–relied on support from their fans that helped raise over $12,000 via a successfully funded Kickstarter.com campaign. Dave Raymond (Vocals/Guitar), Steve Downs (Guitar), Jared Karns (Drums) and John Scott (Bass/Vocals)–earned a respectable place for themselves on the musical landscape via a pair of 5-song EPs, EP 001 and EP 002, released to critical praise.

Exclusively, EP 001 and EP 002 are currently stocked at all major music retailers in Japan via Cars & Calories Records. The band has balanced these elements over three years of many national and regional tours providing direct support for The Used, Hot Rod Circuit, Cartel and Blindside, among others along the way.
