GUEST POST: Greenleaf Shares Their Top Albums Of 2018

Swedish stoner rock greats Greenleaf were busy in 2018. They released their excellent new opus Hear The Rivers via Napalm Records, toured a ton, and even released a great Pink Floyd cover! Without changing what made them great, the band continues to evolve and grow with their seventh record, and they have much more in store next year. They were also cool enough to share their favorite music of 2018 with you, our readers.

Gösta Berlings Saga – ET EX

Sweden’s best band right now. Both their latest records are amazing and live they’re even better.

All Them Witches – ATW

A very cool record with many surprises. Love how this band evolves.

Khruangbin – Con Todo El Mundo

This smooth surf psyched out pop helped me through the year.

High On Fire – Electric Messiah

As heavy as you needed it to be. Pike always delivers.

Viagra Boys – Street Worm

Best punk band in the world right now and probably the most hyped. See them live if you can!

Weedpecker – III

Don’t be fooled by the somewhat silly name, this is a really cool record.

Henrik Palm – Many Days

An extraordinary debut album, Henrik used to be in Ghost and In Solitude but in my opinion, this is better, listen to ‘Missoula’.

Clutch – Book Of Bad Decisions

Clutch is Clutch.

SLEEP – The Sciences

Much better than expected so slow and lovely.

Judas Priest – Firepower

Our drummers choice, he digs this album a lot.

Greenleaf’s Hear the Rivers is available now in the following formats:
