1. Trivium – In The Court Of The Dragon

I think they might have released their best since Ascendancy! A modern thrash album full of musical surprises that hints on death metal most of the times!

2. Mastodon – Hushed And Grim

I love Mastodon no matter what! But this one is an absolute masterpiece where all the guys in the band proved they are masters at the Prog they write and play!

3. Cannibal Corpse – Violence Unimagined

Despite Pat O’Brien not being around but I think this album is their best in a decade! Honestly they kinda lost me for the last several years with their new stuff but I’m very impressed with them again as a fan.

4. Exodus – Persona Non Grata

A full on crazy speedy thrash metal album! Exodus proved to be a classic band when they showed they’re what they are and no wave is going to change them! Amazing.

5. Whitechapel – Kin

In the path of their sound evolution they make Kin which maybe I don’t love it more or even maybe the same as the last record The Valley, but Whitechapel is still one of my favourite bands that always is being creative with what they do! Great production on this record!
