Ghost Cult is bringing you the exclusive première of Los Angeles rock act Spirit In The Room today for their new single ‘A Tropical Hell Hole’. Watch it below:

Frontman Dennis Sanders commented on the track:

(‘A Tropical Hell Hole’ is a song about knowing just how lucky you are and basking in the bright lights of the future while tip toeing over all the fine lines that separate us today. It’s the first song I wrote for the record back in April and I had poison ivy while tracking it. That sucked. But the song rules and takes you somewhere completely off the map. If you like long drives at night then this just might be the song for you. )

Led by Sanders whom writes and records all the music himself in his home studio in LA and then has a live band to help translate the material for shows, Spirit In The Room is influenced by artists such as PJ Harvey, The Residents, Killing Joke, Talking Heads and more.

Famous music journalist Steffan Charizi (editor of Metallica’s So What! Magazine) commented about the band:
