Dallas, Texas singer and multi-instrumentalist Joan Avant will release her next album, her second full-length – Dies Irae, on December 10th, 2021 via Red Masque Records. Mainly based in the symphonic rock genre with strong Gothic influences, Avant’s captivating voice and wide-array of talents are on display as she carves out a niche all unto her own. “End of the Opera” is a semi-autobiographical song, with poetic license taken. The latter half of Dies Irae is dark and heavy, and this song lifts the mood unexpectedly. It concludes “Dies Irae” in a resolute and uplifted manner.”
