One of the things we try to do with our corner of the music world here at Ghost Cult is trying to shine a light on emerging artists. One of the must-listen-to releases of this fall, Louisana’s Ambassador with their upcoming Care Vale album. An intoxicating blend of post-Rock, Post-Punk, and more complete with swirling guitars, hypnotic beats, and one of the best voices we have heard in a long while. The follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut album Belly of the Whale will feature some of Ambassador’s most captivating material yet. This new record benefits from both a lineup shift and the pressure of recording live at Hightower Recordings with James Whitton in just two days. The mastering was done by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege.
