Fans of PVRIS, Gunship, Freezepop, Purity Ring, and CHVRCHES will dig this up and coming artist. Check out the EP now!
“Quarantine really allowed me to take time to get back in touch with myself, especially as an artist. As a direct result, this EP is a product of a lot of creative experimentation and self-reflection. Many of the concepts I tackle in these songs are subjects that I wouldn’t have gone near at the beginning of this year. However, being able to create inside my own little bubble, without fear of public opinion, allowed me to get outside my head and into a very vulnerable place. I think I’m a better writer for it, and a better person for it too.”

Jayelle’s musical style could be described as lyric-driven, alternative pop. A short-list of her influences includes Anna Nalick, Halestorm, Joan Jett, Paramore, Taylor Swift, and ZZ Ward. As a writer and performer, her aim is to convey popular themes in new and clever ways that are captivating from a listening standpoint but also complex lyrically. She is currently working on writing and recording songs for her own projects as well as to pitch to other artists.
