We last caught up with Los Angeles Punk Rocker Kate Clover when she released her awesome cover of Nancy Sinatra’s “These Boots Are Made For Walking.” Now she is dropping her debut album Bleed Your Heart Out – tomorrow, April 22nd, 2022! Kate is a multi-talented threat mixing old-school post-Punk, Riot Grrrl cool, with a sheen of indie-pop style that makes her music cut through all the noise of today. Lyrically Clover’s deft wordplay and storytelling hit hard in these trying times. Produced by her boyfriend Brandon Welchez (of Crocodiles) and featuring members of Davila666, Bleed Your Heart Out is playlist and stay-list worthy! Speaking on the record, Kate wrote:

“Bleed Your Heart Out is inspired by the glitz and grime of classic LA punk. Bands Such as X, The Gun Club and The Germs, spiked with a power-pop punch of the Buzzcocks. Lyrically inspired by Nick Cave and X’s transgressive and poetic approach to songwriting and the wit and musical cadence of Hunter S. Thompson. Thematically, it explores the intricacies of government conspiracies, self-discovery, love, hate and self-preservation. It’s a rallying shout to would be believers.”
