Dez Fafara is one busy dude. The front man is currently working on DevilDriver’s Outlaw Country covers album, while launching The Oracle Management with Mark Vieira, and today his family’s surfing company just went live.
Here is the story behind Suncult: “I started SunCult with My wife and Sons , based on a philosophy we had surrounding the beach culture which was “Worship The Sun.” The understanding that once you’ve got your toes in the sand and body on a board surfing there are no bad days.
My lifestyle isn’t the norm I eat and breathe heavy music and surfing , together they are the perfect pair that guides my lifestyle.
SunCult is walking our own path featuring killer hand shaped, custom crafted boards made in California and designed for the future of surfing. We added a wax line that’s up there with any top brand you know with “All the Tact ” our slogan is “Stuck since 66” which is my birthday. SunCult also added more fragrance along with the tact so you would get the stickiest wax along with that smell that reminds you of Summer!
Our apparel is simple and showcases our stand out logo that sets us apart from the rest of the pack along with our SunCult mantra “Worship The Sun.”
We celebrate the Sun as humans for eons and we carry on the same tradition with our family run business surfing together and bringing attention to detail in everything we do. By putting ” Worship The Sun” on the back of our first run Ts we celebrate this feeling with you all of no bad days! What you see here on this site is just the beginning as we begin to expand our line of apparel and boards so stay tuned weekly as we build on our families legacy and take you all along with us.
