Famed death metal shredder Jack Owen has departed the lineup of Deicide. Owen has been replaced in their lineup by veteran death metal guitarist Mark English of Monstrosity.

Owen was a founding member of Cannibal Corpse, and joined Deicide in 2004 for their tour that year.

He had written and performed on their last four albums The Stench Of Redemption (2006), Till Death Do Us Part (2008), To Hell With God (2011) and In The Minds Of Evil (2013) all for Century Media Records.

Owen most recently toured with for Dutch symphonic black metallers Carach Angren, on their summer 2016 North American tour, wearing corpse paint and costumes to match the band.

Decide is currently in the studio working on a new album for 2017.
