CONCERT REVIEW: Wayfarer – Artificial Brain – Glorious Depravity: Live at Saint Vitus Bar

Locals Glorious Depravity featuring members of Woe, Mutilation Rites and Pyhrron started the night off, the last time we checked in with them was shortly before shit hit the fan with the pandemic and this was their first show back since and damn they have tightened up and worked out the kinks. Looking forward to what they have in store for us in the future.

Artificial Brain was next and if you didn’t know, this was their first live show with Mike Paparo of Inter Arma, and is the new official live singer for the band. If you like tech-death, these guys are great and worth supporting if they come to town.

Finally, the black walls of Saint Vitus were gifted with the atmospheric riffs of Denver’s own Wayfarer, who made a special one-off trip to NYC for their first show back since the pandemic. This sold-out crowd was gifted with these blackened riffs and were more than happy to close their eyes and bang their heads until the house lights can back on and we were asked to vacate the premises.
