Clutch has announced a new album for later this summer, Weathermaker Vault Series, named for their own record label imprint. The band has shared a lyric video for their updated cover of Willie Dixon’s classic blues track ‘Evil’. Dixon was the famous and inspirational bluesman whom Led Zeppelin copied and covered a lot early in their career, and ‘Evil’ has that same DNA with Clutch’s fingerprints on it too. Watch it now!
Neil Fallon commented:
“We’ve had a good amount of downtime since our last tour. And since the devil finds work for idle hands, we kept ourselves busy by recording some tunes. “Evil” is the first of them, a song we’ve loved for many, many years.”
The Weathermaker Vault Series marks the first new official music Clutch is making available since the release of their critically acclaimed album, Book Of Bad Decisions. More tracks will follow as part of the new series throughout the 2nd half of 2019. ‘Evil’ was mixed by 6X Grammy Award winner and Clutch collaborator Vance Powell (Wolfmother, The Raconteurs, Arctic Monkeys).
