Ephemeros Releasing Vinyl Edition Of All Hail Corrosion
Portland death doom collective Ephemeros will be release a vinyl version of All Hail Corrosion.
Initially unleashed on CD via Seventh Rule Recordings in 2013, All Hail Corrosion was tracked and mixed by Fester (Atriarch, Stoneburner) at Haywire Studios, mastered by Brad Boatright (Sleep, From Ashes Rise, Nails) at Audiosiege Engineering and bestows its listeners with forty traumatic minutes of measured depressive harmonies, soul-crushing growls and haunting chants centered around the imminent decay of humanity.
All Hail Corrosion is now available to bring you down on limited edition vinyl, courtesy of Parasitic Records. Contained to 500 copies, the record comes on standard black wax with chipboard jacket a double sided insert and is sure to rumble the infrastructure of your home upon first listen.
Tough Age Releasing Plays cub’s Hot Dog Day For Record Store Day
Vancouver/Toronto surf/punk quartet Tough Age will be releasing their new covers album Plays cub’s Hot Dog Day for their first Record Store Day release on April 18, 2015 via Mint Records. Stream “Tough Age’ here.
Available only on (very-)watery-ketchup-coloured seven-inch vinyl, Plays cub’s Hot Dog Day is a cover record devoted entirely to recreating the second set of six songs from Lisa, Robyn and Valeria, recorded fresh after Tough Age’s seventh or eighth tour.
Plays cub’s Hot Dog Day was recorded once again at Vancouver’s The Family Christmas, this time in their permanent home there and not dragging gear back and forth from The Orphanage space down the hall. Wholly produced by Jay Arner with assistance from Jay Arner and Jay Arner, this little red biscuit features every member of Tough Age singing, taking on such gems as “My Chinchilla” (“Satan sucks, but you’re divine.”), “Nicolas Bragg” (“Sunflower, nightshade, seaweed, x-ray.”) and of course a rolling rendition of Astrid Gilberto’s “Summer Samba” minus horns to put things in perspective.

The Crypt Issuing Vinyl Edition Of Putrid Offal’s Premature Necropsy
Kaotoxin Records has secured a licensing deal with The Crypt to release the vinyl version of Putrid Offal’s
Premature Necropsy, which will be released sometime in late 2015/early 2016 as a 500 copy limited edition first press (250) on colored vinyl) with exclusive liner notes. The 2014 demo version of “Suffering” from the collector EP of the same name will be included as a bonus track.
Premature Necropsy consists of the band’s early 90s discography, which comes as a bonus CD with their just released Mature Necropsy debut full-length (500-copy limited edition first press), and features their 1991 Unformed demo and split with Agathocles, 1991 Premature Necropsy split LP with Exulceration and 1992 Obscurum per Obscurium six-way split CD with Supuration (among others).
