Wacken Open Air Crowd Pays Tribute to Lemmy Kilmister


The 2017 Wacken Open Air festival took place this past weekend in Germany, and did not disappoint. This year’s lineup included the likes of Megadeth, Alice Cooper, Emperor, Volbeat, Amon Amarth and Kreator, and over 70,000 people showed up to witness it all in person. When Chester Bennington died on July 20th, it sent a shockwave through the music world. Although there seems to have been a lesser number of deaths in the music world this year compared to last, they have been no less painful. The fact that he died by suicide is tragic, and should not come with any sort of stigma, or lessen his greatness and accomplishments.
