Much of the excitement at this past weekends’ New York Comic Con was about DC Comics Entertainment/Warner Brothers studios film Justice League, uniting the heroes Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg in a team-up. With the new official trailer dropped, aside from the non-stop action, the standout was Gang of Youths’ cover of David Bowie’s classic track ‘Heroes’. Avenged Sevenfold Cover “Wish You Were Here” By Pink Floyd, Announce “The Stage” Deluxe Edition

Avenged Sevenfold‘s evolving concept for their latest record, The Stage, ends when they release a special deluxe edition on December 15th. Bonus tracks set for inclusion on the expanded effort are the various covers, etc. they’ve put out since the album’s release, as well as four previously unreleased live songs captured during a set at The O2 Arena in London, England.

The remaining members of Motörhead will be releasing a collection of their best covers on September 1st, which includes the previously unreleased version of David Bowie’s ‘Heroes’ that we premiered earlier this month. Today they’ve shared their Grammy-winning cover of ‘Whiplash’ by Metallica online, along with this statement from Mikkey Dee to Metal Hammer, “As you know we love Metallica and they love us, and this is one of the songs we liked a lot and covered it back then.
