Joe Perry Collapses On Stage During Hollywood Vampires Performance

Reports are coming in from various new sources after fans witnessed Joe Perry, performing with his side project The Hollywood Vampires stumble offstage during the bands set in Brooklyn Sunday night. Perry was said to have collapsed right behind the stage with what is reported to be an episode of cardiac arrest. Fans at the show posted pictures and video to social media of the incident. Perry is on tour with the American rock supergroup consisting of singer Alice Cooper, actor Johnny Depp on guitar, and drummer Matt Sorum, during his downtime from Aerosmith. We wish Joe a speedy recovery. We are tracking this story and will update further when more news is confirmed.

Eight Bells guitarist Melynda Jackson broke her leg last night in Atlanta, while on tour with Voivod and Vektor. Termed a freak accident, the band has posted on their Facebook page that the band will be unable to perform tonight in Knoxville, TN. The band is still trying to determine if and when they can rejoin the tour, but vow to support the bill in any case. They have also launched a GoFundMe campaign to help offset the medical bills. Eight Bells is on the road supporting their recently releases album Landless (Battleground Recordings) .

We wish Melynda a speedy recovery!

Hello, friends. Unfortunately, there was an incident at our show last night and Melynda was badly injured. This morning, doctors confirmed that her leg is broken. We are terribly sad to say that we cannot play tonight’s show in Knoxville but we will try to make it there in order to support our friends inVoivod and Vektor as well as sell some merch in an attempt to ease some of Melynda’s mounting medical bills.

Motörhead’s Phil Campbell Rushed To Hospital, Berlin Show Cancelled

Motörhead‘s Phil Campbell was suddenly rushed to the hospital today and the band had to cancel their sold-out show this evening in Berlin, DE. The band released a statement on Campbell:

 

“He will be better soon but there is no choice other than to cancel our show in Berlin. We all wish Phil a speedy recovery.”

No word from the band yet if their will be able to perform at their next show, Sporthalle in Hamburg tomorrow, on Saturday November 28. We wish Phil a speedy recovery.

Slipknot Bassist Recovering, Will Rejoin The Band This Week

After collapsing mid-set in Hartford, CT Sunday night, Slipknot bassist Alex ‘V-Man’ Venturella is recovering from illness tonight. The band announced via Facebook that Alex suffered sever dehydration and was rushed to the hospital as a “precautionary measure.” He is expected to rejoin the band tomorrow night in Mansfield, MA and for the remainder of the “Summer’s Last Stand Tour”.

 

 

After a medical emergency during last night’s show, we are relieved to let everyone know that our bass player, Alex ‘V-Man’ Venturella, is well on the road to recovery. Alex collapsed mid-set after feeling unwell and as a precautionary measure was taken to hospital where he was found to be suffering from severe dehydration. After recuperating overnight, he has now been discharged from hospital and is on his way back to his Slipknot family. All being well, Alex will be back onstage with us tomorrow in Mansfield, MA. We thank everyone who reached out with messages and well wishes for Alex and we look forward to be being back at full tilt for the rest of the Summer’s Last Stand tour.”
