Candiria released While They Were Sleeping earlier this year via Metal Blade, and as John LaMacchia said in our recent interview, “they put everything into this record,” and the end result was one of my favorite releases of 2016. There is no other band that meshes so many styles so well, and with a strong concept behind the entire album, it makes for an exciting and impactful listen from start to finish.
