Essential 1990s band Blind Melon has booked a string of upcoming tour dates. The band has been touring off and on for the last few years and have intimated that they have been writing new music for a future single and album release. The band has been performing with singer Travis Warren since 2006, and on occasion late lead singer Shannon Hoon’s daughter Nico. Blind Melon’s last album For My Friends was self-released in 2008 and was the first since Nico’s namesake album in 1996.
