Black Sabbath Is Planning To Release A Live Album And Documentary On Their Final Shows

Black Sabbath retired from touring back in February after one final hometown show, but the heavy metal icons aren’t done releasing material for fans just yet. In a new interview with Tony Iommi for NBC News, writer Corky Siemaszko states that a live album and film documenting the band’s farewell tour are in the works.

Here’s the full excerpt: “He’s written a piece for the long-running “CSI” television series, and he’s in the process of mixing the sound from the final Sabbath shows in Birmingham for a possible live album. We’ll actually be doing a documentary,” he said.My job at the moment is to have a listen to what we’ve done.”
