Augury Shares Teaser Of New Music, New Album Due This Spring

Montreal-based technical death metal masters Augury have signed a new record deal with extreme metal label The Artisan Era. The band will produce a new album, their first since 2009. The band has shared a clip of them working on new music which you can see below.

Augury commented on their new deal and new music:

“We are proud to announce that Augury has teamed with The Artisan Era Records for the release of their third album. While the recording is entering the mixing/mastering process with Chris Donaldson (Cryptopsy) at The Grid Studios, Augury is back with a new creation, lyrically influenced by lost civilizations and their enigmas, musically following the roots from the two predecessors, 2004’s Concealed, and 2009’s Fragmentary Evidence. The album’s artwork and title will be disclosed in a further statement, so brace yourselves for its emergence in Spring 2018!”

Augury is:

Patrick Loisel – Vocals, Guitars

Mathieu Marcotte (Humanoid) – Guitars

Dominic “Forest” Lapointe (First Fragment, Teramobil, ex-Beyond Creation) – Bass

Antoine Baril (Contemplator) – Drums
