Ethereal American Doom band Worm Ouroboros are streaming two new songs from their upcoming album What Graceless Dawn, due out from Profound Lore on December 3rd. Hear ‘(Was It) The Cruelest Thing’ and ‘Broken Movements’ over at the Profound Lore Bandcamp Page.

After streaming the track at Decibel a few days ago, the band commented about the lead single: ‘(Was It) The Cruelest Thing’

“‘(Was It) The Cruelest Thing’ is a love song to the memory of beauty when hope and light are extinguished.”

Recorded and mixed at Oakland’s Earhammer Studios by Greg Wilkinson (Brainoil, Pallbearer, Noothgrush), the acclaimed three-piece band counts bassist/vocalist Lorraine Rath (The Gault, Amber Asylum), guitarist/vocalist Jessica Way (Word Eater), and drummer Aesop Dekker (ex-Agalloch, millions of other bands).

CD and digital formats of Worm Ouroboros’ What Graceless Dawn will be available via the Profound Lore web store and Bandcamp page today!
