Melvins have just released their new single, their first from their upcoming album Pinkus Abortion Technician, due on April 20th from IPECAC Recordings. Jam out to ‘STOP Moving To Florida’ now!
The song is a medley of The James Gang’s “Stop” and Butthole Surfers’ ‘Moving To Florida,’ Buzz Osborne commented:
“I wanted to do the song ‘Stop’ but I didn’t want to do all of it and I love ‘Moving To Florida’ so ‘Stop Moving To Florida’ seemed perfect”.
Pinkus Abortion Technician features double bassists in the latest configuration of the groundbreaking, prolific band. Steven Mcdonald (Redd Kross, Off!) and Jeff Pinkus (Butthole Surfers), join King Buzzo and Dale Crover for the album and subsequent tours.
